About Me
Hi there! I am a 32 year old mother of two! I have one daughter, Claire, who is the absolute mini version of me. She never stops talking, has an imagination that runs wild, and is the most caring little 4 year old I have ever met. I also have a 2 year old son named Grady. While he thinks that he is a dinosaur, I promise that he is all boy. My husband, Derek, and I both teach in the same small town that we live in, in central Wisconsin. He teaches 6th grade math and science and coaches high school football. I teach high school special education, advise many student groups, and am pursuing my master’s degree. In our spare time (who actually has spare time anyway?), we love running the fitness center at our school, camping, and anything that keeps us active as a family. I also enjoy cooking (because who isn’t on a sourdough journey these days?) and reading (yes, I am a proud member of the Maas-everse, iykyk). This blog is meant to be light hearted, comical, and hopefully relatable. I hope you enjoy!
Mission
My mission is to de-influence our heavily influenced world. Not every lesson, home, workout, or parent is perfect, so let my stories show you that through chaos comes some of the most beautiful moments in life.
